RAW. Apologies for the mad aura just oozing out of this squad flick up. Quite literally a childhood dream come true to have all these sets in my possession. I used to sit in my dad’s office in the glorious years of 2008 and 2009, using old links to get to the 2006 version of the LEGO website where I’d watch the Piraka Rap and fantasize about being a heroic toa storming the Piraka stronghold to save the island of Voya Nui. It’s funny how far 2006 felt from 2009 at the time. To think these guys are 20 years old and that I actually remember being able to go to Target and see the original BIONICLE sets on store shelves is insane to me. Having memories of something that seems so old and legendary really throws me for a loop. Gen Z had it good man, it’s terrible how you literally cannot comprehend how great you have it until it’s gone. That’s why it’s important to focus on things eternal rather than temporal. Suffice to say, God is cooler than BIONICLE lol.
